Sales Representative

We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record of helping businesses increase their sales numbers. A strong candidate will have experience with B2B sales, great interpersonal and communication skills, be comfortable with conversations over the phone and in person, know how to build targeted relationships, and have experience closing deals. The Sales Executive will work directly with our cybersecurity team and be fully responsible for increasing our B2B sales, revenue, and profit. The successful candidate will also be at the forefront of positioning us as the leading cybersecurity company in Utah. We’re looking for a creative, yet budget-conscious professional who can take and give direction, give fantastic sales presentations, and has a passion for business growth.

  • Learn how Totem.Tech service offerings and software assist our client’s cybersecurity requirements and needs. Possess a strong understanding of the value Totem’s services bring our clients.
  • Understand our target market and learn potential client’s pain points and what sales strategies can be used to close deals.
  • Work closely with our team to create and implement new sales strategies designed to increase conversion and improve B2B sales interactions. Our goal in 2022 is to double our software sales in the MSP space.
  • Gain an understanding of each potential customer, learn how we relate and can serve them by learning about their business.
  • Be confident reaching out to potential customers and offering them useful resources which will feed them into our sales funnel.
  • Answer incoming customer phone calls and take appropriate actions for each call: answer questions, close deals, direct the customer to the right Totem team member and update the CRM tool after each interaction.
  • Set up appointments with prospective clients then professionally follow-up to maintain relationships and close deals.
  • Attend expos and events Totem sponsors for professional networking, relationship building, and providing potential clients with useful resources, all with the goal of following up to close a deal.
  • Create and maintain positive and lasting relationships with current customers and new prospects. Including following-up to discuss customer’s needs and the quality of Totem’s service/relationship with them.
  • Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to the Totem.Tech Executive Team.
  • Be a motivated, self-starter, who can work independently. Set and achieve sales goals and quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Be an expert in inbound/outbound sales with a proven sales track record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM
  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Be a motivated, self-starter with a desire to grow a tech start-up company
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience setting priorities and goals
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot)
  • Willing to travel up-to 50% of the time.
